Together they make someone who can go all the way through an experience and come out the far side holding something nobody else found.

What this gives you reliably is stamina for the long haul. You do not change horses midstream. Once you are genuinely committed, you can stay with a process for years, including the parts that make no sense while you are inside them, and reach an end most people never got near. That is why you succeed where others fail. It is not superior talent. It is that you were still there.
This is Collective circuitry of the experiential kind, so what you learn is not just yours. You gather it by living it, then hand it back to everybody else as wisdom.
The whole thing hinges on how you say yes. Your yes is cheap and constant, and that is the trap. You are available, you like committing, and you will agree to almost anything if you let your mind do the deciding. Say yes from the head and you sign up for years of something that was never yours, and satisfaction curdles into frustration. Wait for the body.
The other discipline is letting go of expectation. You cannot know where a correct commitment will take you, and gripping for control wrecks the discovery. Get in fully, stop needing it to make sense yet, and trust that the timing of your own life is sound.
