Left Angle Cross

Left Angle Cross of Education 2

11/12 | 46/25

Your incarnation cross is the overarching theme of your life, the deepest layer of your purpose. It is woven from four points in your chart: the Sun and Earth at the moment of your birth, and the same two points from about three months earlier. Together these four energies describe the terrain your life keeps returning to, the larger story you are here to live out over many years.

Four currents run through this cross, and the ideas lead. Your mind works like a gallery, filling with concepts, images and possibilities that want to be talked about. They are meant to be passed on rather than acted on. They are stimulation, seeds handed to whoever might one day plant them, and the peace this brings arrives the moment you stop demanding that every idea go somewhere. The second current is a careful gatekeeper on your voice, a wisdom in holding back until the mood is right. Words forced out on demand fall flat. Words that come when the feeling is there carry real weight. The third, running underneath in the body, is a love of the physical and a knack for being in the right place at the right time, which grows out of throwing yourself fully into an experience and staying with it until the cycle completes. The fourth is a level, unranked love, an innocence that meets whatever life sends and comes out of each test a little wiser.

Together they make an educator. Your life gathers experience, the experience turns into ideas, and the ideas get shared when the moment is ripe. Your purpose arrives through other people. An idea that stays in your own head is not yet education, so you need the ones who listen, who ask, who take the thought away and use it. You are meant to be drawn into people's lives and to leave something behind in them. The trap is chasing the next idea out of restlessness, or speaking before the mood carries you and watching it land flat.

None of this reveals itself all at once. A cross is a direction rather than a job description, and it unfolds slowly, across a lifetime of experience. The way to live it well is simple to say and takes practice to trust: follow your Strategy and your Authority, make each decision correctly for you, and let your ideas be shared for the pleasure of sharing rather than for what they might achieve. Do that, and the theme stops being an idea and becomes the life you are actually living.
