Line 1 - Canvassing
Exalted: (Jupiter) You gather people by teaching them. The ones who have not yet committed get won over because you patiently show them what the group is actually for, and your material direction grows out of that education.
Detriment: (Mars) Zeal that tips over into preaching. When the teaching hardens into a hard sell, you push people away instead of drawing them in, and the drive for what you want makes the message aggressive.
Line 2 - Consensus
Exalted: (Uranus) An inventive knack for finding common ground. You come up with fresh ways to work out what people genuinely share, and the group holds together because you gave it a method for agreeing.
Detriment: (Mars) A built-in refusal to fall in line. Other people's ways of handling what is shared meet a rebellious no, which protects your independence and can also keep agreement permanently out of reach.
Line 3 - Exclusion
Exalted: (Neptune) Left out, you will do whatever it takes to get back in. You can dissolve an outdated arrangement, and you will swallow your pride if that is the price, because belonging to what the group has matters more.
Detriment: (Mars) Exclusion met with force. The sting of being shut out comes back as anger, and even once you are let in, the old frustration keeps leaking into how you handle what is shared.
Line 4 - Direction
Exalted: (Jupiter) You can point the gathering at something worth serving. The chance to bring people together gets used for a principle larger than any one person, and the group's resources follow that higher aim.
Detriment: (Mars) Steering the group toward what suits you. The influence is real, but it bends the shared direction toward personal gain, and the higher principle quietly drops out of the picture.
Line 5 - Leadership
Exalted: (Uranus) Every gathering needs a centre, and you can be it. An intuitive, inventive intelligence lifts the whole group effort, and because you respect the centre yourself, what you lead holds together over time.
Detriment: (Jupiter) A strong sense of what is right, paired with an assumption that people already respect you for it. The authority gets claimed before it has been earned, and the group has not agreed to follow yet.
Line 6 - Reconsideration
Exalted: (Uranus) A genuine feel for the outsider. You understand the odd, often misread logic of the one who was left out, and you will invent a place for them so that what the group has serves them too.
Detriment: (Jupiter) The outsider is welcome back only on your terms. Rather than making room for what makes them different, you require them to conform first, and the gathering stays closed to what it might have learned.
