Line 1 - Intuition
Exalted: (Venus) A fine sensitivity to what is in harmony and what is not. Your knowing arrives through beauty and proportion, so an eye for aesthetics, whether inborn or grown over time, is how the direction reveals itself.
Detriment: (Mars) The ego pushes for action even when the deeper knowing says otherwise. Here the urge to move overrides the quiet wisdom that was already pointing the way, and the direction gets lost in the hurry.
Line 2 - Genius
Exalted: (Saturn) You carry the inner discipline to focus your knowing and bring it into form. This is a natural talent for insight that no teacher could hand you, a quiet genius that shows itself when you simply trust what you know.
Detriment: (Mars) When knowing curdles into the belief that knowledge is nothing more than raw power, the gift loses its balance. Genius pushed by that hunger can tip toward a kind of madness, forcing what should stay natural.
Line 3 - Patience
Exalted: (Jupiter) You are the teacher who never stops being a student. There is a maturity in accepting that receptivity is a lifelong process with no finish line, and in dedicating yourself to it anyway.
Detriment: (Uranus) For the part of you that wants revolution now, patience feels like a waste. Knowing that cannot bear to wait demands expression before its moment, and the direction it points to arrives half-formed.
Line 4 - Secretiveness
Exalted: (Venus) More than modesty, this is the discretion that preserves harmony. You can be the team player, acknowledged as the leader without ever needing to be the captain. Your knowing does not have to be spoken to be recognised.
Detriment: (Mars) Loose lips sink ships. When the ego cannot resist an opening to speak, it stirs up resentment that costs you more than silence ever would have. The inability to hold back undoes the harmony.
Line 5 - Intelligent Application
Exalted: (Mercury) The strategist. You have a gift for placing resources where they will actually work, applying your knowing with reason and good management so the direction you sense becomes a workable plan.
Detriment: (Earth) When you cannot share responsibility or see what others are capable of, the knowing turns inward and selfish. A direction meant to serve the whole shrinks into something only you are allowed to steer.
Line 6 - Fixation
Exalted: (Mercury) The mind locks on and rationalises endlessly, which narrows the field of what you can receive. The intellect is sharp here, yet it keeps circling one frame instead of taking in the whole picture.
Detriment: (Saturn) A hunger for security pulls the higher knowing down into the mundane. Awareness bent hard enough toward safety can distort badly, and what should have been direction curdles into something destructive.
