Outside the Three Circuit Groups

The Integration Channel

Outside the three circuit groups. Keynote: Self-Empowerment

The Integration Channel is the oldest wiring in the BodyGraph and the only circuitry that stands outside the three circuit groups. It is four channels running between the Sacral Center, the Spleen, the G Center and the Throat Center, and together they form a spine down the middle of the chart. Its whole business is the survival and expression of one individual form. Where every other circuit is about how you connect to people, this one is about how you stay yourself.

The keynote is self-empowerment. Energy here is for your own use and cannot really be handed to anyone else. Someone with a lot of Integration defined knows how to behave in the moment without needing a reason or an audience, and that is exactly what it was built for: an instinct for survival that moves before the mind has caught up.

The Four Channels

Channel 34-57 is the Channel of Power, pure Sacral force guided by Splenic instinct. Channel 20-34 is the Channel of Charisma, where that force goes straight to the Throat and becomes action. Channel 10-57 is the Channel of Perfected Form, the instinct to survive as yourself and to hold to your own principles. Channel 10-20 is the Channel of Awakening, where behaviour becomes something you can say out loud in the now. Human Design also counts a fifth channel, 20-57, in the Individual circuitry that grew out of this core, and you will find it on the Knowing Circuit page.

How It Moves

Integration energy is present tense. It does not plan, it does not look back, and it does not wait for permission. It acts when the moment is right and rests when it is not. That is why Gate 20 sits at the centre of it: the now is the only time this circuitry knows.

Living With Integration Defined

If two or more of these channels are coloured in on your chart, you are built to look after yourself first, and that is correct for you. People may read it as self-absorbed. It is not selfishness, it is the design of a form that has to be intact before it can do anything for anyone. The not-self version is a loner who cannot let anyone in and cannot explain why. The healthy version is someone so at home in their own body that other people relax around them.

If You Have None Of It

Most people have little or none of the Integration Channel defined, and that is not a deficiency. You take your sense of how to behave from the circuits you do carry, from the people around you and from your Strategy and Authority. What you can learn from the Integration people in your life is the value of simply being yourself without justifying it.
