Line 1 - Conditions
Exalted: (Venus) Penetrating right to the centre of the swirl and finding the harmony that lets you survive the disorder. Amid all that confusion the hard part is locating the point, and this is the capacity to find it.
Detriment: (Mars) With the transition finally in sight, a powerful temptation to move too fast. You think you have made sense of the confusion, the urge to act surges, and the timing simply is not there yet.
Line 2 - Qualification
Exalted: (Venus) An inner development that recognises which qualities the crossing actually calls for, and knows that without them any action will fail. That honest self-assessment is what ends the confusion about what makes sense.
Detriment: (Moon) Constantly in motion, burning through the very qualities and resources the transition is going to need. The activity feels like progress, and it leaves you lost in the confusion with a burdened mind.
Line 3 - Overextension
Exalted: (Saturn) The wisdom to notice when you simply lack the resources to finish, and to ask for help, accepting confusion as a passing state. You read your limits honestly and reach out before the effort collapses.
Detriment: (Moon) A surface confidence that leaves no one to turn to when the transition falls apart. You press on as if all is well, and when the crossing fails there is no support in place to catch it.
Line 4 - Conviction
Exalted: (Moon) A quiet assuredness that confusion is simply a process, one that resolves into clarity in its own time. You stay steady through the murk, trusting the pattern to complete rather than grabbing at a forced answer.
Detriment: (Mars) Force and energy alone, which cannot overcome doubt. The confusion is overcharged rather than resolved, and all that drive brings no relief, because pushing harder is not what turns the mental wave into clarity.
Line 5 - Promise
Exalted: (Venus) The values a new order promises get demonstrated through how you actually get along with people. Harmonious interaction is the proof, and it is what justifies the whole struggle. The confusion is over which values and relationships bring that harmony.
Detriment: (Jupiter) Justifying the struggle by dwelling on how badly the old order failed, which never shows what the new one is worth. The focus stays on past confusions about values rather than present quality.
Line 6 - Victory
Exalted: (Mercury) A mental assuredness that knew all along the outcome was coming, so triumph is sweet without becoming an excuse for excess. You can genuinely enjoy the confusion and the sheer variety of data it throws up.
Detriment: (Venus) Like the Trojan Horse, celebration is where vigilance slips. With this much data swirling, it is easy to get carried away and lose perspective at exactly the moment you most need it.
